Ahhh, Fall! It’s time to have pumpkin beer and celebrate the changing of the seasons. Wait, what? Pumpkin beer? NOT ANYMORE! But nope, we’re stuck with gluten-free beer and ciders. I was disappointed at the last Fall-flavored cider I tried (see my Ace hard pumpkin cider review here). However, Woodchuck’s new Fall cider is way better.
It doesn’t taste like pumpkin – so I had to give that up. However, it does have strong notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. These were exactly the types of flavors I wanted in the pumpkin, but didn’t receive. The Woodchuck tasted…real, while the Ace tasted a little fake.
I recommend Woodchuck’s Fall cider. I give it a 4 out of 5. It’s not pumpkin-flavored. But, it’s Fall flavored. And I could have two in a row without getting a headache from the flavor. I say – go forth and drink cider!
