You might have heard me talk about Ami from Ami’s Cakes and Confections in Ames, IA. They are a long-time CATB fan and she was also a contributor to my Kickstarter campaign. Her cakes are incredibly impressive. She also recently sent me some AWESOME cake pops that got some positive comments on my Instagram account. Needless to say, Iowa is pretty lucky to have this readily available to them.

She recently sent me a photo of her and her daughter.

This is me and my oldest daughter wearing our shirts. I went to her daycare to do a cake demonstration event for 24 kids ages 5-12 (and also my other 4 yr old daughter).  And of course, it was all gluten free, and soy free too, as another girl is allergic to soy…They each got to frost and decorate their cakes – and then of course, eat them! Then I left when the sugar kicked in. Some kids had LOTS of frosting.

Ami, you rock. Thank you for being radical and showing to others that gluten-free can be tasty AND adorable.
