Celiac Awareness Month Day 17: Mary’s Gone Crackers

Mary's Gone Crackers

During Expo West 2014 I had a chance to sit down with some of the Mary’s Gone Crackers team to learn about what was new in their world. To be completely honest, I was never the biggest fan of MGC before (and I know that you respect my honestly, interwebz). However, I was impressed enough with their new products to really give them a second chance into my heart and my stomach. After all, they’re all about gluten-free, organic, and non-GMO, and sometimes vegan (things I can get behind). They’ve also updated their branding and I love it!

I really loved their new Everything Pretzels (which remind me of the everything bagels that I totally miss from Einstein’s Bagels), and their new vegan gluten-free graham crackers are totally radical. It’s a shame that they’re not out on the market yet, but I’m telling you – get excited! The chocolate ones are the bomb-dot-com (bringing back/stealing that phrase from Charissa).

I’m super impressed with their rebrand – it looks awesome. From a marketer’s perspective the rebrand gives them a fresh new image in the marketplace. If you haven’t given Mary’s Gone Crackers a chance in a while, you’ll love the new products.

But you know what’s super awesome? These products aren’t even out in stores yet! You can’t find these products anywhere until this summer. But you? Well you could win them and get them before your neighbor even sees them on the shelves. Don’t share with neighbor, they seem like real jerks – I mean when was the last time they brought you any gluten-free cupcakes?

I love graham crackers plain. Such a tummy-easing snack. But everything goes good with nut butter, so I think graham crackers and almond butter would be my ideal snack!

They’d be perfect for smores while camping! I have to say from experience that GF graham crackers are the item I’ve had the hardest time finding, last year before a camping trip I had to hit up 3 grocery stores before I found some. I’m dying to try these!
