Celiac Awareness Month Day 20: The Gluten Free Bar

Welcome to DAY 20 of Celiac Disease Awareness Month with Celiac and the Beast. I’m an ambassador for Gluten Free Bar – which means that each month or so I get to highlight a few different products of theirs and my payment is in magical bars of peanuts. Like I say all the time, I only engage like this with brands that I really love – and The Gluten Free Bar is one of them!

HELLO NEW GLUTEN FREE BARS!

HELLO NEW GLUTEN FREE BARS!

This past month, The Gluten Free Bar launched TWO NEW FLAVORS in addition to the bars that we’ve highlighted here on Celiac and the Beast before here http://celiacandthebeast.com/2014/02/the-gluten-free-bar-review-giveaway/. The two new flavors highlight one of the hottest flavors out there right now – coconut. I was NEVER a fan of coconut as a kid, but I am obsessed with it right now. I even put coconut oil in my morning coffee – and you KNOW that my morning coffee is nothing to mess with.

It’s hard for me to choose between the two new flavors (Dark Chocolate Coconut and Coconut Cashew Crunch). The Dark Chocolate Coconut tastes much like the Chocolate Peanut Butter bar with added kick of coconut. The Coconut Cashew Crunch is a very buttery flavorful bar with a added pinch of coconut flavor. I love these new flavors!

The Gluten Free Bar has a lot of great products – including the newest Gluten Free Bar bites! You can watch me talk to the Gluten Free Bear…Bar Bear? Basically one of the best costumes at Expo West – you can see me talk to a bear about their new products at the videos below.

I’ve only tried the Cranberry Toasted Almond (which I HIGHLY recommend), but I want me some of that Oatmeal Raisin flavor. Is it weird that I want all the bran-y flavors over the chocolate?
