Red Apple Lipstick constantly surprises me with new colors in lipstick and eyeshadows – and the holiday 2014 collection is no exception. While this may be a “holiday” collection, it’s not like it’s red and green sparkles. This collection is good for year-round wear. Even a grinch like me found something in this collection that made my heart grow two sizes.

My favorites have to be Manhattan (a beautiful and sophisticated darker red), Hollypeno (a bright, spicy red), and Wine & Dandy (a very goth romantic dark burgundy that looks better after you dab your lips in a Kleenex for that wine-stained look). If you didn’t take advantage of the holiday pre-sale, you missed out on the first run of Ooh La La – which at the time of this post, is sold out.

 

I was also impressed with their holiday eyeshadow collection. My favorites are En Pointe – a soft ballet slipper pink, Golden Ticket – a shimmery golden wonderland, and Taken for Granite – a grey that can match whatever 50 shades you’re wearing.

They also have two new glosses in their collection, and don’t forget their epic mascara!
