We’re all so busy, and the summer is no different. But during the summer in Arizona, I’m especially pressed for time and it’s way too hot outside (it was 117 today!) to cook lunch and cook dinner and run the oven all day for work. I want a quick meal that keeps me full. Bob’s Red Mill new protein powder nutritional boosters are an answer for me, and they could be a great addition to your pantry.

Bob's Red Mill Protein Powder Nutritional Booster

When they launched earlier this year at trade shows, I was so interested in a new product line from Bob’s Red Mill. As a celiac, I am incredibly familiar with this brand and use it almost every day in baking or during breakfast for my morning oatmeal. While I currently use a few different products for my lunchtime or breakfast shakes and smoothies, I always like to have variety in my pantry of safe products that I know are gluten free.

So why choose Bob’s Red Mill Protein Powder Nutritional Boosters?

  • They’re gluten-free (and made in a dedicated gluten-free facility)
  • They’re vegan
  • They contain probiotics
  • They’re not too sweet (they’re sweetened with monk fruit)
  • They’re high in protein, fiber, iron, and omega-3’s

It’s made with pea protein, inulin (chicory root fiber) and chia seed. They are available in chocolate, vanilla and chai flavors. They also offer unsweetened/unflavored variety that just adds protein and fiber to your existing shakes and smoothies. They cost about $29.99 for 16 oz. (1 lb.) and each smoothie/shake requires 1/3 of a cup of product. If you used this once daily, you could make about 10-11 servings. There are about 20 grams of protein in each serving – and only about 1-2 grams of sugar, added from the natural sweetness of monk fruit.

I recently started seeing these on my store shelves within the past few months. If you don’t have them in your store currently, talk to a store manager, or order them online. If you order online make sure to visit HERE to score a coupon!
