New Sabra Spreads

Sabra Spreads are the brand new product from Sabra hummus. These spreads are a simple and fun way to take a regular gluten-free sandwich and kick it up a notch – spread style. Instead of using just mayo, make a unique sandwich using these refrigerated hummus-based spreads, with no egg (for those of us with allergies or sensitivities). Lucky for me, they’re all non-dairy and gluten-free. The squeeze bottle also helps any cross contamination (no knives necessary). The spreads are the first of its kind.

I used Annie May Sweet Cafe’s “everything” allergy-friendly bun, toasted, and spread the Sabra spread on the bottom and the top. I then placed gluten-free deli turkey slices, lettuce, tomato, and sliced red onion. The honey mustard spread was a perfect fit for this type of sandwich.

I was making zoodles the other night and cracked open the Garlic Herb Sabra Spread. While it’s really great on sandwiches, there’s endless possibilities, including on fresh pasta or over raw veggies. Make sandwich roll-ups for lunches? Sabra spreads can turn turkey into a treat or chicken into a champion lunch.

If you’re a hummus lover, you’ve got to check these new Sabra spreads out. Find them in a deli section near you. They will be refrigerated – just like regular hummus!

These sound delicious! I’d love to try them on a sandwich. I’ll be on the lookout for them in the food store.

I have hated mayonnaise since I was a child, so I was excited about trying these spreads. My husband was skeptical as I am not a fan of hummus. Their ad was rather effective and made me hopeful about liking it. It took one taste to be hooked on the Garlic and Herb flavor. I put it on a salami sandwich with Swiss cheese, tomato, fresh spinach, and some red onion. It is so good. The best thing about the spreads is that my husband has enjoyed sandwiches without mayonnaise, and that means I do not have to smell that vile concoction!

I am currently out of it, so buying more tomorrow. I am planning to try the Honey Mustard flavor on a chicken sandwich. Thank you for the ideas on the pasta dishes! Now if the spreads were sold in a large economy or family size I can imagine I would use it on everything!
