Brim

This is one of the most exciting coffee maker launches I saw at the show. It’s Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) approved, which means it’s a pretty incredible home brewing machine (along with the likes of Bonavita, OXO and more). It’s pour over coffee, without the barista-like work of getting your gooseneck to the right temperature, timing your pours, etc. You don’t even need a paper filter, it has a fine mesh filter that allows the coffee’s oils to flow through, increasing the flavor of the beans. It’s around $199.99 (varies by retailer) and available on Amazon through 3rd party retailers.

Hamilton Beach 10-Cup Grind & Brew Coffee Maker

The whole point of this machine is combining the grinder and the brewer into one countertop instrument. The grinder grinds the beans fresh for each pot and self-rinses the grinder after each use. This Hamilton Beach coffee maker also displays the time since brewed, so you know how fresh that cup really is. It’s out soon-ish and retails for $119. If you like the idea of this one, but don’t mind a 12-cup and a glass carafe, instead of a thermal option, it’s available to purchase on Amazon.com.

Hamilton Beach Alexa-Enabled Smart Coffee Maker

How many times have I jokingly yelled out from the bedroom, “Alexa, brew my coffee.” Well, now it’s an actual thing. The new Hamilton Beach Alexa-enabled smart coffee maker has several phrases that work with your Alexa and the Alexa app. They attached the Alexa to one of their best coffee makers. It should launch before summer and is at an affordable $79.99.

Russell Hobbs Retro Style Coffeemaker

This isn’t just about beauty, although I really dig the looks of this. The Russell Hobbs brand out of the UK is all about luxury in aesthetics and quality of the final product – which makes it a little higher in pricing. I really love the brewing progress guide – a retro-style gauge that actually moves from no coffee to coffee (and happiness). You can get this for $79.99 on Amazon.com now.

Melitta Artisan Pour-Over Set

Melitta is known for their pour overs. In fact, I have two of them in my house right now from Melitta! If you’re in a small place with not a lot of storage, you can set out your entire pour-over set on the counter, and still have it look great. This just-launched set retails for $79.99 and is on Melitta.com right now.

Melitta Heritage Series Pour-Over Coffeemaker

Perfect for Mother’s Day, these pastel pour-over sets are beautiful to keep out on the counter. It’s available in pastel yellow, pastel blue, and pastel pink (pictured) and retails for $39.99 on Melitta.com.

Coffee House by Chef’n

There’s so many new things from the Chef’n Coffee House line!They all match aesthetically to each other and can be used together as well (see the diffuser on top of the carafe, the french press timer and the brew kit, etc.).

The new 3-in-1 Brew Kit features three ways to brew in one – pour-over, cold brew, and french press. It retails for $79.99 and is available now on Amazon.com.

This modern version of a pour-over coffee kit includes the carafe and the cone, making up to two servings of coffee (or in my case, one very large cup). It’s $19.99 and available now on Amazon.com.

If you don’t want to sit over your cup of coffee for three minutes for a pour-over, let this Chef’n diffuser do the work for you. Place it over a carafe and it will diffuse up to two servings of water into a pour over for perfectly made coffee. It’s $19.99 and is on Amazon.com now.

This coffee scale allows you to count up for pour-overs and french presses, along with weighing out your grounds with precise measurement. Retails for $49.95 – out soon!

This stirrer and timer for french press counts up to four minutes, the precise time for brewing a french press pot of coffee, while helping stir up the grounds too. It’s also great for scraping the grounds out of the press afterwards! $14.99 and it’s available on Amazon.com.

KitchenAid Drip Coffee Maker with Spiral Showerhead and Programmable Warming Plate

KithcneAid has had many iterations of a coffee maker over the years. These remind me a little bit of Robocop, but I really dig it in white. The spiral showerhead is supposed to provide a better, more even drip coffee flavor and quality. The model with the programmable warming plate retails for $199.99. If you’re looking for the same style of coffee maker with the spiral showerhead, without the programmable warming plate, you can get one for $89.99. Both versions launch Summer 2019.

Gourmia, Le Creuset and more!

I wish I could share more, but there are more awesome coffeemakers, pour-overs, and coffee accoutrements to come in 2019 but there are some pretty big names making waves with coffee! I’ll keep this updated when I get more details on what’s to come!
