Happy Valentine’s Day Non-GFBF

Last year, I celebrated my first REAL Valentine’s Day with someone that I adore. Most of my Valentine’s up to here have been sub-par to say the least. I was really good at being single – in fact, I thought I had perfected it. Although my celiac diagnosis and plenty of healthy problems that went along with it were difficult to deal with, I survived on my own like a stomach-paralyzed badass for a while. But then, I had a chance at real love and a real life with a partner who understands me.

I mean, he went from Non-GFBF to 100% GFBF (although the name still sticks because it’s so dang catchy – oh, and if we get cross-contaminated, he’s still not down for the count for days – lucky dude!).

He started Celiac and the Beast with me last March and has helped it grown exponentially. He not only does all the back-end work on the website, but he’s also the designer that creates all those beautiful t-shirts and hoodies that you see for sale! He also tastes all of the food that we review and puts in his two cents to almost everything I write. Although I may be the face of our brand, he’s certainly part of the heart.

He’s put up with so much – being sick all the time, being busy writing Celiac and the Beast 24/7, dragging him along to PR events (although I think he secretly likes being in the spotlight too). I just want to say a giant…

THANK YOU

along with a giant

I LOVE YOU.

Happy Valentine’s Day, dude.

And for my readers, my only wish for you today is that if you have a GFBF, appreciate him. If you don’t, I know there’s someone out there for you that will appreciate you and love you for who you and what you have – don’t settle for less – please.

I just gotta tell you, both of you are so inspiring to me. If nonGFBF can go GF for life, and still be healthy and keep you happy, that gives me hope!
