Pascha Chocolate Make Me Smile chocolate fruit spread

This post is brought to you by the fine people at Pascha Chocolate and their vegan, gluten-free and food-allergy friendly Make Me Smile Chocolate Fruit Spread – available in stores and online now! Pascha Chocolate is a sponsor of Celiac and the Beast.

Pascha Chocolate Make Me Smile

Have you tried the NEW Make Me Smile chocolate fruit spread from Pascha Chocolate? I had a chance to sample this way back during product testing. I was so excited for it and just had to wait for it to hit the market. In fact, I was so excited about it, I featured it in one of my columns for Gluten Free & More magazine!

The chocolately ooey-gooey spreadable delectable flavor of Make Me Smile spread comes from concentrated fruit syrup and unsweetened chocolate. It is Pascha’s answer to Nutella – but without dairy, and without nuts – and all of that annoying cross-contamination or “may contain” statements or “made in a facility” with warnings. Pascha Make Me Smile Chocolate Fruit Spread is produced in a facility free of the top 8 allergens. If you have food allergies, this might be your answer to some of the other spreads on the market! The Make Me Smile spread from Pascha Chocolate is CSA certified gluten-free, certified organic, fair trade chocolate, vegan, kosher, Paleo and Non-GMO Project Verified.

And it’s something you won’t feel guilty for including in every lunch for your little ones as they go back to school. It’s a lower fat spread with a rich chocolate taste fueled by fruit. And there are only 90 calories per 2 tablespoons!

Curious about the ingredients? Here are the ingredients for the current two varieties of Pascha Make Me Smile Chocolate Fruit Spread:

Original Flavor – the red label  (learn more here)
Pear Juice Concentrate
Apple Juice Concentrate

For Back to School and to make creative lunches throughout the year for your little ones, consider using Pascha Make Me Smile Chocolate Fruit Spread by:

  • Spreading on rice cakes (alone, or with chopped strawberries or sliced bananas on top)
  • Making a Make Me Smile sandwich (alone, or pair with SunButter), or Make Me Smile wrap using allergen-friendly tortillas
  • Use on to-go spread for mini-pancakes
  • Adding in as a chocolate burst to morning smoothies

These look fabulous. Thank goodness for on-line purchasing as Southeast Georgia rarely carries anything new or exciting. Thanks for letting us know about this line of products.

I work in a school so this would be perfect for me at snack time. But I also tell my celiac kids to see me if they need snacks! Win win. I’m sad they don’t market it in Massachusetts though

A chocolate spread for anything?! Bananas, those coconut rolls from Costco, waffles, toast, a spoon…the options are limitless. Perfection! I haven’t had anything like this in years since my dairy allergy so kindly revealed itself.

Chocolate — goes with everything from appetizers to entree’s! This sounds so delicious and the thought of not having to worry about gluten OR lactose — wow — I’m going to be looking for it in our grocery stores … but would love to win a head-start sampler.

I love love love a peanut butter, nutella, and banana sandwich, lightly grilled (as in grilled cheese), but it’d be nice to make it without the guilt (or at least with less!)!

What a SUPER idea! Our boys are allergic to peanuts, so not chocolate varieties for them. They love Nutella, but Eileen is allergic to tree-nuts. This would be something the whole family could enjoy!
