Canyon Bakehouse has always been a great supporter of Celiac and the Beast, and our growing love of daily morning gluten-free toast. When they talked to me last year about a secret new product they were so excited to launch, obviously I lost my mind and couldn’t wait to hear what it was. When they told me that it was full-sized pieces of bread – I smiled so big (big enough to fit these wide loaves!).
Wide Loaf Ahead!
Canyon Bakehouse new heritage style bread loaves are pretty big. A huge complaint about gluten-free packaged bread is that they are small slices. The filling always sticks out around the edges, and it’s barely enough to contain deli meat. Sure, you can make toast, but when it came to sandwiches, it was always tough. Yes, a few, smaller gluten-free bread manufacturers have made a larger loaf, but they are not the same quality and taste that you can expect from Canyon Bakehouse.
There are TWO varieties of Canyon Bakehouse Heritage Style loaves – Whole Grain and Honey White.
These construction workers are sweating trying to move these whole grain heritage style pieces of bread.
These new heritage style loaves retail for $7.99 for a 24 oz. bag, and you can already find them in stores. They should be fully stocked by mid-January 2017. Find them in places you’ll find normal Canyon Bakehouse products – in natural stores, grocery stores, and Target. You can also buy them online at CanyonBakehouse.com.
Like the other Canyon Bakehouse breads, they do contain eggs, but are free from gluten (obviously), soy, dairy, and nuts.
This honey white loaf of heritage style bread by Canyon Bakehouse is a just a little bigger than the competition!
Celiac and the Beast family is loving our heritage style loaves. We’ve already eaten two bags and can’t wait for our local store to stock these. Another epic win from Canyon Bakehouse. Go out and buy a bag or two – you won’t be disappointed!
CAUTION! WIDE LOAF AHEAD!

Where can I buy the Heritage Style Honey White bread?
On their website if you can’t find it in stores!
I’ll have to try the Whole Grain version. I hope it’s not sweet, which is the problem I’ve had with most commercial GF bread.. $7.99 for a 24 oz. loaf isn’t that bad when you look at the large slices from Schar– they’re more than half that for five slices.
Canyon Bakehouse’ shipping charges are OUTRAGEOUS!
Luckily you can often find Canyon Bakehouse products at a store near you – try Target or other natural grocery stores!
