Gluten Free Dairy Free at Raglan Road Disney Springs Walt Disney World

I’m so lucky to have a chance to visit Orlando at least once a year for the past few years. While Orlando itself isn’t really all that special to me, Walt Disney World and the surrounding areas are a dream. Not only is it fun to pretend like everything has a coating of magic pixie dust on it here, but as a celiac, and as someone who is dairy-free, I can easily eat here! Outside of the great restaurants at the Walt Disney World park, and at the Walt Disney World Hotels, you can also find celiac, gluten-free and dairy-free friendly food at Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney). One of my favorite places to eat at in Disney Springs is Raglan Road. Raglan Road offers gluten-free and dairy-free celiac-safe food.

Gluten Free and Dairy Free at Disney Springs Raglan Road

When Taylor (Gluten Away) was visiting me at BlogHer17 in Orlando, we took advantage of Disney Springs and ate at Raglan Road. You can view the entire gluten-free menu on their website. Taylor was really excited to have fish and chips – both gluten and dairy free. Raglan Road is THE place to go in the Walt Disney World area for gluten free dairy free fish and chips.

However, I was pleasantly surprised that they also offered gluten-free dairy-free chicken fingers as well, as well as gluten-free dairy-free onion rings. Previously I was only able to get things like this as Hawthorne Fish House in Portland. It was awesome to have these options at Raglan Road in Disney Springs. Naturally, we each ordered a dish and split it so we could have a little bit of both.

We couldn’t decide which one was better – the gluten-free dairy-free fish and chips or the gluten-free dairy-free chicken tenders. They were both pretty amazing. Each came out with their own allergy stick, indicating a special order. It was nice to see that they pay so much attention to the orders. The manager also came and spoke with us to make sure that everything fit our needs.

We stuffed our faces off with the fish, chicken, and the fries that were fried in a dedicated gluten-free fryer. I haven’t had fries like that in forever. The server even brought out a new bottle of ketchup, so we could feel safe with the condiments – a nice touch above and beyond the server’s duty. I really felt taken care of at Raglan Road at Disney Springs.

Gluten Free Dairy Free Dessert
Unfortunately, we were so stuffed that we could not fit one more calorie in before bursting. The server brought out the dessert menu and let us know they now offer a gluten-free dairy-free chocolate cake option. While I could have taken it to-go, I knew we were both itching to go to Erin McKenna’s Bakery, a vegan gluten-free bakery, that was practically next door at Disney Springs after our meal. We had to let the cake slide, but we both loved that they had a safe option to choose!

If you are interested in having a safe meal at Raglan Road at Disney Springs, you definitely should get a reservation, especially for parties of 4 or more. While you can walk up, there will definitely be a wait. If you want to watch the show, go earlier in the day and make a reservation on the phone and request the main dining room. Kids especially like this because they always ask kids from the audience to come dance with them on stage. While I find it charming, I’d rather stuff my face than dance a jig with a cast member.
