I’m pretty lucky to be a paid partner with one of my favorite brands, Molly’s Suds, for this giveaway – along a great way to nail your next housewarming party or baby shower gift! Thank you to Molly’s Suds for sponsoring this campaign and for being my go-to laundry detergent!
Molly’s Suds is a brand I’ve been using for years. I deal with a sensitive skin condition that I need to use special detergent. My physician told me that I can never wash clothes with traditional laundry detergent again. I can’t use any artificial fragrances or harsh chemicals. I can’t wear anything washed in your average detergent, and sometimes I can’t even be by that fragrance. Sitting next to someone on a plane or next to someone working out in clothes recently washed in this detergent makes me nauseated. For years, my clothes have been washed in Molly’s Suds, after I found them at a trade show. I liked that they were a natural-based powder, and one without any artificial fragrances or chemicals. I’ve used all of their products and I just love the way that my skin loves Molly’s Suds! We typically use the All Sport for our cycling and barre dirty laundry, and the laundry powder for anything else. Every round of the dryer uses Molly’s Suds dryer balls to help shorten dryer time.
Note: If you think you’re dealing with sensitive skin or a skin condition, always see a doctor or dermatologist!
Molly’s Suds is also gluten-free, certified vegan, and leaping bunny approved.
Tale of a Pillow Ruiner
Until now, I hadn’t used the oxygen whitener. But with a recent trip to a salon, I realized I absolutely needed to. Because, I have to admit it, I’m a pillow ruiner. I ruin pillows. I don’t know what dye the salon used on my most recent change to red, but it has been running like no one’s business. And ruining my pillows. I thought perhaps this was permanent, that I’d be stuck with semi-orange pillows on an all-white bed set, but thankfully it was not. It just took a half an hour soaking in the oxygen whitener and a load with the regular laundry powder, and it was back to its original color. And then I did it all over again the next day. Sigh – I guess I’ll have to take it up with my colorist next time!
After this test, I know I can trust Molly’s Suds’ newest (to me) product! Just like the rest of their suite that I’ve kept in my house for years now. You can also use a little paste made with the powder and water, and let it pre-soak before a regular wash. Since I’m also the master of kitchen stains, I use this method on a pretty regular basis. You’d be shocked at how food is attracted to my clothes only during the times I’m not wearing an apron – it’s like the food just knows.
Housewarming or Baby Shower Gift Ideas
And since Molly’s Suds products have worked so well for me, why not share the love with someone else’s home? Any time we have a housewarming, it’s always the same thing – a card and a bottle of wine. So why not give them something they’ll actually really use in their new place?
Gift a box full of Molly’s Suds detergent and dryer balls – something that will last for a long time (longer than those bottles of wine). This is also a perfect gift for a new mom – as a baby’s skin is super sensitive! If you’re gifting for a baby shower, be sure to include a bag of Cloth Diaper Powder (which I use too – no, not for diapers, but for my undergarments!).
Since I don’t know where you live, or when the next time you’re having a housewarming party, let’s just do a giveaway for a reader and we can pretend like it’s my gift to you for your house!
