When you think about Napa, you might think about fine dining and wine. But tacos? During our #GFBloggerRetreat in Napa, CA I had some of the best tacos ever. And this is coming from a girl from Arizona! I found incredibly inventive – and gluten-free – tacos at C Casa in Napa. If you head to Napa, you can’t miss these tacos, they are not to be missed! C Casa in Napa, CA is part of the Oxbow Public Market restaurants. C Casa is 100% gluten free and can accomodate dairy-free.

The first night, I bought the grilled prawn taco and the roasted duck taco. I LOVE duck – it’s like a fattier, gamier chicken. However, I never make it at home because I can’t imaging myself cooking Donald and Daisy into a taco. The duck taco was a specialty taco, one of the few tacos that they offer off the menu every night.
I would recommend two tacos per person. They’re pretty big tortillas, and contain a lot of their high-quality meat and lots of delicious toppings and sauces. Even without cheese, these were incredible. The tacos range from $6 to $9 for one of the more expensive meats like duck, steak, or prawns.
The nachos are pretty legit. I think one order for two to three people seems about right, but I could definitely polish off an order by myself as the main course – especially topped with any of their meats. They come with goat cheese, but you can leave off. I wasn’t overly impressed with their salad, compared to the magic you can get in taco or nacho form – why bother!
Also, don’t skip their beverages. Their aqua frescas are made daily and I loved the ones that I tried while I was there. You also can’t skip a Mexican Coca-Cola while you’re there. Somms even say it pairs with nachos (they don’t say that).
Bloggers, you can’t take us anywhere.
The second night, I bought even more of the duck tacos. Quack quack, I still dream about these tacos. I even purchased their hand-made tortillas and took them home with me to Arizona. C Casa, I miss you already!
I highly recommend C Casa in Napa. It’s easy to find, in walkable downtown Napa at the Oxbow Public Market. There’s plenty of parking for the market, and the food comes out pretty quickly. The tacos are affordable, especially for Napa standards. I went there twice within 4 days and if I would have stayed longer, I would have gone for every meal that I could. I still haven’t tried the grilled prawn cocktail and it’s on my list!
Yum those all were so dang good!
This was my favorite place we ate while in Napa for the retreat. Does that make me less of a foodie or more of a foodie?? LOL

This place looks right up my alley! I’m currently planning a trip out to Napa, this is definitely going on my must-eat list 🙂 Always so helpful to find places that cater to food allergies and intolerances
