I recently had an opportunity to partner with Flax4Life after years of eating their products. I’ve been a superfan of Flax4Life since I found their bite-sized chocolate brownies. But don’t think Flax4Life is just about brownies and muffins – they make gluten-free dairy-free sheet cake (hello easy, portable, gluten-free party cake!), granola, and single serve easy to-go items perfect for lunches. And don’t forget their newer toaster buns (a product I highlighted at our Best of Fancy Foods round-up)- a perfect sandwich bun available in Original, Everything, and Cinnamon Raisin.
Flax4Life Cake
One of my favorite Flax4Life products is their gluten-free dairy-free sheet cake. You can get a whole gluten-free sheet cake on a store shelf (not refrigerated!) for less than $15.00. They can stay on a shelf for 11 days at room temperature, or in the freezer for up to 9 months.
They offer a Chocolate Cake and a Carrot Cake, both with high fiber, healthy protein from peas, and Omega 3’s from ground flax. The texture is slightly more dense than your average cake, which is why I think its perfect for breakfast. Yes, I’m fully endorsing cake for breakfast.
While I’m not typically a fan of carrot cake, I really love Flax4Life Gluten Free Dairy Free Carrot Cake, made with dairy-free cream cheese frosting! Check out Go Dairy Free’s review of the Flax4Life Carrot Cake.
Flax4Life Muffins
If you not into eating cake for breakfast, you can try their muffins, available in a four-pack clamshell or in single serve packages for on-the-go. The muffins come in several flavors:
- Apple Cinnamon
- Blueberry – also available in single serve
- Carrot Raisin – also available in single serve
- Chocolate Chip – also available in single serve
- Cranberry Orange
- Hawaiian (pineapple, coconut, and ginger)
Like the cakes, the muffins stay fresh for up to 11 days at room temperature, and can be stored in the freezer for up to 9 months.
Flax4Life Brownies
But the mini muffin brownies, I am obsessed. I’m a huge fan of their Toasted Coconut Brownie because I believe that brownies and toasted coconut were meant to be together. But they’re just as good as Flax4Life Cappuccino Brownie mini muffins! These bite-sized brownies are gluten-free and dairy-free, and contain flax. Like their name, these mini muffins are made with ground flax seeds – and are high in fiber, and Omega 3’s.
The mini muffin brownies are available in:
- Chocolate Brownies
- Toasted Coconut Brownies
- Dark Cherry Brownies
- Mint Chocolate Brownies

Toasted Coconut Brownies.
I LOVE the mini chocolate and chocolate coconut brownies. So good I have to restrain myself from eating too many as they have 21 grams of added sugar. I’m not sure if that’s for one or for two minis. But it’s still half the recommended sugar for the day. Hard to restrain myself, they are SO good…
