I adore Whole Foods. You know it, I know it. I might as well just admit it in writing. And although I have a good laugh at hilarious posts about the absurdity that is the people that shop at Whole Foods, I admit that I am one.
And luckily for me, there was a Whole Foods grand opening right around the corner from me today! The Whole Foods Camelback is a short drive away from where I live. I typically have to go to the Paradise Valley location about 15-20 away from me to get all the delicious gluten-free items that I can only seem to find at Whole Foods (versus a Sprouts of a Trader Joe’s).
I received a flyer saying that it was finally opening (after months of teasing me with “coming soon” signs). The first 200 people received a free item (it was a vase made out of recycled wine bottles) and the coupons were nothing spectacular, but I was still excited to go as soon as it opened.

Well, I was definitely not one of the first 200 people in line. The line reminded me of a mega blockbuster movie on opening day. This grand opening was not for the faint of heart.

What can I say? I loved it! I feel SO lucky to have a Whole Foods this beautiful THIS close to me! Seriously, this is a gorgeous Whole Foods. I am so giddy like a schoolgirl! Definitely go see this if you’re in Arizona. I think it’s better than the huge Mayo location too! I just see my paycheck going directly to this building…
