Ugly Christmas Sweaters

Ugly Christmas Sweaters + Gluten Free Dairy Free Gingerbread Fun

Erica Dermer, December 20, 2015

Not only did we rock the Ugly Christmas Sweaters this year (handmade of course), but we killed the party with gluten free dairy free gingerbread yummies featuring GF Jules and So Delicious! NonGFBF won first place with his vintage tinsel and ornaments tree sweatshirt and I won third place for my cat handmade hand-sewn nightmare. I still think I should have won, but there’s no grudges when we share our prizes!

If you’ve been following my Instagram, you know that I’ve been just slaying holiday gingerbread. This is all thanks to gF Jules gingerbread/graham cracker mix. Seriously, people can’t believe this all came from a mix. And it’s so easy even I can do it. In fact,  NonGFBF loved it so much, we just placed another order from it in bulk! Order yours here (or since the holiday is almost over, stock up on her all-purpose flour, sugar cookie mix, pizza crust mix and more) https://gfjules.com/?ref=2460!

But wait, there’s more! Attempting to chill a plate of gingerbread people in my fridge, the entire fridge system collapsed (apparently I’m not good at Jenga) and gingerbread men and women flew everywhere. The pieces that didn’t land on the floor and were safe on parchment paper were turned into gingerbread cookie CUPS! Each cup, baked like the normal cookies, were then topped with So Delicious gluten free dairy free whipped topping called Cocowhip and sprinkled with Pumpkin Pie spice. They turned out even better than expected and were the hit of the party!

Aren’t these great! I’m thinking I’ll try to recreate the same thing with gF Jules’ sugar cookie mix come spring!

**DISCLAIMER: I am an affiliate for gF Jules, but don’t make any profit on it since the money goes directly back to Jules to buy her mixes. Of course.**

Your gingerbread men and cookie cups look great! Wish I had a couple right now.

    Cheers,
