I received Gratify gluten-free pretzels for free, but received no compensation for this post. This house literally lives on pretzels. I might start paying rent in bags of pretzels at this point. What’s the use of money, just salt and dough.
Yes, you can put out pretzels at a party. But why not put out party pretzels at a party?
These pretzels are from Gratify Foods. Gratify pretzels are certified gluten-free. I find these pretzels at my general grocery store, not my specialty food stores. I haven’t seen these party pretzels yet, but they were fun to work with dipping in chocolate!
I used a mix of Enjoy Life Foods mini chips and Free2B chocolate chips with a little coconut oil. I melted it in the microwave, but be extra careful as to not burn the chocolate! You can also use a double boiler method to melt the chocolate, but it takes a lot longer and requires more dishwashing.
Chocolate is so perfect to pair with gluten-free pretzels. The salty and sweet combination of flavors is perfect, although the sprinkles will definitely tip the scales towards sweetness. Both chocolate chips I used are free from the top allergens, including dairy, so this makes the recipe dairy-free as well.
After dipping the pretzels in chocolate, I sprinkled them with Williams-Sonoma Sprinkle mix. This particular mix had cross-contact warnings for a ton of allergens, but none were wheat. If I was using sprinkles for anyone else, especially allergy kids, I would use naturally dyed sprinkles from Color Kitchen. But c’mon, these had mini marshmallows in them! I couldn’t say no.
I froze them afterwards, just to make sure the sprinkles stayed on. They will melt, so keep them inside or chilled. These gluten-free pretzels were perfect for dipping and sprinkles!
